Thanks, Stevens. I thought it was a nice touch too.

BobH, that's a brilliant suggestion. I'll have to think on that, see what I can do.

Thanks, guys. - lar @ wezen-ball

Nice work. I'd love to see a grass vs. artificial turf comparison here, too. Perhaps an alternate color underline for turf years? - BobH

it looks like I put the 61, 70, and 72 pennants on the timeline, but off by 10 years... that's what happened. Again, I'll have to fix it later, but at least I know what went wrong...

Makes sense to me. Would love to have had those "extra" pennants in '80 and '82, but we must strive for accuracy. ;) Great graphic, BTW. Although it gets depressing when you scroll down to that team that began playing in Oriole Park in '01. Oh well, at least with Palace of the Fans we've got the best ballpark name ever. - Phil S

sorry again, Phil. You're right... that should be a 1970 pennant straddling those two stadiums, not a 1971 pennant...

it looks like I put the 61, 70, and 72 pennants on the timeline, but off by 10 years... that's what happened. Again, I'll have to fix it later, but at least I know what went wrong... - lar @ wezen-ball

Wow. Bad Reds error

Thanks, Phil. I have absolutely no idea how those 1980 and 1982 pennants got there for the Reds. If you look, the Phils/Royals and Cards/Brewers both have the proper pennants for those years. Crap, I'll have to fix that.

I did also forget that 1961 pennant. The '71 pennant is right, though. It's placed in 1971, and the border between Crosley/Riverfront is in 1970 (Crosley closed in June 1970).

That Reds error is going to bother me all day... and I won't be able to fix it until I get home from work. Arg! (Thanks for pointing it out, though) - lar @ wezen-ball

Re Reds: You forgot the 1961 pennant, the 1970 pennant should straddle Crosley/Riverfront but instead you've placed the pennant in 1971, you left out the 1972 pennant and there were no pennants between the WS victories in 1976 and 1990. - Phil S
