			<description>It is their best interest, IMO, to get what they can for Prince and stay competitive for as many years as they can.

It hasn't been that long since going to Miller Park was  &quot;trendy&quot; thing to do. They have built a great young (Jason) fan base, and an exciting offense, but when that pitching can't contribute fans begin thinking Packers way too early.

I hope, even as a Cubs fan, that the Brewers are wise and get all they can from a player like Fielder and keep this team relevant and competitive for as long as possible.

			<description>More often than not you strike out.  Things would be different if the Brewers had a clear path to the playoffs the next two years, but things are too murky for them to take that chance.  While it's not necessarily this easy, I guess the Travises and Franks could ask themselves if they would take one more playoff appearance even if it meant not being competitive for another 10 years. - Jaymes Langrehr</description>
