Thanks everyone. Glad you all enjoyed it (especially you, Casey).

Yeah, Joe, that's exactly right. And I know what you mean. It definitely doesn't feel like 20 years ago... - lar @ wezen-ball

Great story, Larry. I remember when you lived back at Park West. I think that's where you lived when we first started hanging out. Those days seem like so long ago, but only yesterday at the same time. - JoeD

I loved this story! I remember that field at Park West. You couldn't ask for a better place to play. I think Paul actually made it over the wooden fence once or twice, which was awesome and sucked because we'd never see that ball again. We spent a lot of time out there tossing the ball around. I only wish we had spent more. Thanks for everything Larry. I really enjoy your blog.

I'm not sure if you remember me, but we are kind of related. Marjorie is my sister-in-law (ex) (long story). My boys LOVE their Uncle Casey. My oldest son Nick (14) got to spend some time in TX him a few summers ago. Casey had such a wonderful influence on him that Nick has now joined ROTC and plans to join the Army. He is proud proud proud of his Uncle Casey and marched in the Veterins Day Parade yesterday here in Reno. Your brother rocks! We pray for our troops, and their families, every night.

Thanks for the post (and memories of Fresno).

Have a wonderful day. - Brandi
