I just wanted to make a quick note here and apologize for the slow week so far. It's probably going to remain slow for the rest of the week. I'll try to catch up next week. In the meantime, I thought I'd share a couple of links here to keep you busy.
- Remember, I've been writing over at Beyond the Box Score for the last few weeks. I haven't done a good job of linking to the posts here (though I do always make sure to mention them on Twitter). In the last couple of weeks, I've written about Ken Griffey's place as the best player in baseball and the workload of young pitchers. I try to post something there once a week.
- The Tater Trot Tracker was mentioned on Slate's "Hang Up and Listen" podcast on Monday. It's the last "Tshabalala" of the podcast, and you can find it at about the 41 minute mark here.
- I was also mentioned in the June 7 issue of Sports Illustrated (the one with USA Soccer on the cover) for the David Ortiz home run trot thing. You can see a good look at it over at The Fightins.
- For non-Tater Trot Tracker news, how about these links? These are two of my favorite blogs posts of the last few months, and they were both published this week: from The Common Man, his guide to going to a game with a disinterested partner. And, from Walkoff Walk, a look at one of the biggest mysteries of the season: Where have you gone, Joe Di-Maine Coon?
Okay, that's all for now. If this isn't enough, you can always follow me on Twitter. I'll try to step things back up next week.
