The Miller Park parking lot before gametime is always a party, especially on a Sunday afternoon. But it's going to be an even bigger party on August 29, when the Miller Park Drunk Pants Party takes place. I've said it before (back when he guest posted a couple of weeks ago), but MPD is easily one of my favorite Brewers blogs out there and this Pants Party is a genius idea. I'm glad he thought of it.

It's nothing more than fancy tailgate taking place before the CC Sabathia Bobblehead Day game on Sunday, but it's going to be a great time. The menu sounds utterly fantastic - the drunken Polish mac'n'cheese, Italian sausage meatballs, and chorizo quesadillas all make me want to head over there right now - and the company should be great. I know there are plenty of people who I already know are coming that I'm looking forward to eating and drinking with. It's going to be a fun time. And, for only $25 including ticket and food, it's a great deal.

In fact, I'm so excited about it that I wrote a guest post for Vince over at MPD explaining why it's okay to stay late at the Pants Party and miss the first inning. I wouldn't say that I convinced myself entirely about it (I do like to see every pitch of a game if I can) or that I believe every argument (I don't have anything against the Star Spangled Banner - it's God Bless America that I don't like), but it's a pretty good case. Go check it out and, if you're in the area, consider buying a ticket. It's going to be fun.
