It's nothing more than fancy tailgate taking place before the CC Sabathia Bobblehead Day game on Sunday, but it's going to be a great time. The menu sounds utterly fantastic - the drunken Polish mac'n'cheese, Italian sausage meatballs, and chorizo quesadillas all make me want to head over there right now - and the company should be great. I know there are plenty of people who I already know are coming that I'm looking forward to eating and drinking with. It's going to be a fun time. And, for only $25 including ticket and food, it's a great deal.
In fact, I'm so excited about it that I wrote a guest post for Vince over at MPD explaining why it's okay to stay late at the Pants Party and miss the first inning. I wouldn't say that I convinced myself entirely about it (I do like to see every pitch of a game if I can) or that I believe every argument (I don't have anything against the Star Spangled Banner - it's God Bless America that I don't like), but it's a pretty good case. Go check it out and, if you're in the area, consider buying a ticket. It's going to be fun.
